“El Mago” is the second painting of “The Guardians of the Jungle” series.
 
“El Mago” (The Wizard) came to me in meditation. He holds the cocoa pod in his hand, as a sign of abundance. The ancient Mesoamerican cultures appreciated cocoa highly. It was thought to be the food for the gods and used as money. The monkeys and cocoa in these cultures are strongly related.  El Mago wants to bring you abundance and magic in your life. What does it mean to you?
